Sterling MK -V L2A3 smg in 9mm para by MGC Japan , last produced in the 1970s .
This is a modelgun replica built between 1960 - 1970 when Japan used steel in modelgun construction .
All Blued Steel with some zinc alloy parts fully working action cocks / clicks / strips / dry fires - full weight of real steel .
Originally a firing gun using 9mm pfc rounds - this gun was " deactivated " for the US market who deemed the smg too real to be allowed in without further work done !!
Go figure ? Mad
Needs internal work to restore as a PFC firer - bolt face has been cut to prevent feed / extraction .
These can also be modded to fire 8mm blank s having easily strength to contain these pressures .
I am selling this one as a seriously awesome working replica at a fraction the cost of an old spec , - has twice the function - with potential as a firer .
A rare opportunity to purchase this stunning SMG in great condition ( for 50 years old ! )
Built up to a standard not down to a price - a near forgotten practice these days .
Advertised elsewhere .

£400 plus post

UK only .

Carl.

Thanks mate

Very interesting - did not know this was available ?

modelguncollector - however , will not deal with me , I have tried before .

They do not recognise my compliances .

The barrel was fully blocked at the breech so would need opening up plus det pin fitted .

Quite a lot of work but I guess would have been worth it .

Carl .

Ha, yep. Me too! Still thats their prerogative I guess.

Do you need a VCRA defence to buy a bolt though!??! There are many Airsoft vendors for instance who similarly don't like certain re-enactor compliances and won't sell guns - yet they will sell me parts for GBB's etc. I recently bought a spare bolt and nozzle for one GBB I have, yet I know that particular vendor won't sell me an actual gun without a UKARA ticket. Crazy innit!

Thanks mate

I don,t think I would give that particular dealer any business .

There are others I would prefer to deal with .

I would prefer they have my money - thats my prerogative
