Marushin xm177e2 metal flash hider won,t come off !!! ggrrrrr.....

Hi Guys

Just a quickie I have a suppressor that I want on my rifle instead of the above but the existing flash hider is proving to be a right b####### to shift .

I know its ccw thread . All I am doing is taking off paint and getting the rest of the rifle out of shape by trying to force it with a wrench .

I can just about see the threads so I know it SHOULD come off but I am reluctant to give it what for with the wrench after a good douse of wd40 - holding the barrel with an adjustable .

I am just worried I might break something with the metal being quite soft anyway .

So has anyone got any suggestions before I take that step ? Someone suggested apply some heat first then give it a good go ?

I have put it aside to soak couple days in oil and today could be the big day .

I will post a pic if I manage to do it - or if I break something .......

Its an xm177e2 / m203 combo only had it a short while - ( thanks Jay )

It looks amazing and feels nice if a little wobbly . I read this is pretty normal for the model in various posts elsewhere on the forum - the m203 probs contributes to this too but damn - what a looker !
