Model Gun Brand and in order?

Which Model Gun manufacturer is the best and/or in which order of quality etc?

Is there an answer or is it down to individual choice or preference. Also, is some manufacturers specialise in a particular type of gun eg western, revolver etc. As appears to be in airsoft circles?

MGC made some great older steel models MP40. sterling for example. Hudson still make metal SMG's PPSH. M1A1 , Scorpion and older models like the sten which is superb.
MGC newer thompson's ar great.

Marushin make a realy good ABS mp40, the mauser 712 is excellent their automags are fantastic.

I dont know i really cannot pinpoint one company that i prefer, MGC are usually more accurate with markings etc but all companys have in my opinion brought out some excellent models.
I can tell you which models i think are very good or the best but there would be more than 1 from each company.

As far as specialising in certain models , well MGC most certainly specialise in the good old colt 45, their list of 45's seems to be never ending.

Like claymore states, it is hard to choose who the best modelgun manufacturer is as they are all good in one way or another Hudsons quailty was a joke for along time but, they have improved to the point that they make excellent modelguns!! MGC has always been excellent and they make fine modelguns and possibly, the most copied cartridge design: the CP and the CP (HW)

Marushin makes many excellent modelguns and great cartridges they are a great company! The main criteria for modelgun make selection depends on the types of guns you like as not all of the manufacturers produce certain modelgun versions. Also, the era that you like can be a limited as to what modelguns are available 1920's etc as MGC is the only maker of a 1921-28 Thompson modelgun...There are many reasons that choosing a paticular manufacturer over another doesn't really matter it's just what you like and what feels good to you.

Like airsoft I had TM because of markings and quality, but most models I had were Maruzen because they had the gns I liked eg v61, M11, MP5, P99. However out of these the v61 was thebest and most solid it really felt real plus locked back when mag empty!

With model guns I have 2 V10 by MGC and this is so gorgous I use one all the time as it hasn't jammed once. I have the Hudson metal v61 another gorgous gun, fired only once and have put away too good to play with.

Next is my Marushin XM177e2 I have just got this is some too. The full metal and markings is as real as replica can get to me.

One not too pleased with is the Marushin PPK/s Silver after a couple of mags started full auto and its brand new. Which made me think is the Marushin XM going to be any good but yes it is.

I prefer modern guns although my Marushin Browning M1910 is a fantastic model with 'cold to touch' feel and very solid & heavy.

As you say perhaps it has to be split my type ie smg, hand gun etc. Or would more apt to compare say MGC Colt to Marushin Colt?

I see a difficult question but interesting people's thoghts though.
