The idea that he was trying to back out of the deal was the first thing that came to my mind also. Pretty sad if that's the case. So here's what I'll do, I'm going to shoot him an email and try to finish the deal. If he truly just doesn't want to sell to a Washington Stater, I'll offer up his contact info and hopefully someone on the board (not from Washington State ) can get a pretty sweet deal on a MGC MP40.

I agree that if he is (or was?) trying to back out of the deal that is sad..But, since Washington State does have a real prohibition on machinegun possession (except for current military and authorized law-enforcement) then there just might be some dis-information out there that needs to adressed..I just haven't heard of any rumors to this affect until your posting.
