posting photos

im sorry but im pretty ignorant about posting photos on these forums and have searched for instructions and found nothing. id be grateful for some assistance please;

Welcome to the forum.

As with most forums you'll need an image hosting site. There are a few about and are usually free.

A lot of us used Photobucket (not just on this forum) until it got greedy and started charging. I use imagur now

Which you can upload your photos to and then add the BBCode link to any forum posts. Imgur isn't massively user friendly but it get's the job done.

You can host a picture through this site, when you open your message page look at the far right at the top column. you will see a youtube banner, to the left of this (3rd to the left) another icon is host an image (hover over the icons they tell you what they are).
You can then upload an image, press select all then another 3 choices appear, take the middle one, once pressed the picture appears in your message/post and of course you can preview it before sending/posting.
So you can can host pictures through this forum but you cannot host video.
