Did anyone know these existed? i did not. Its a gas blowback that takes rounds and fires a cap, the cap is obvioulsy for noise and flame, No idea how many yrs ago these were made as i dont think they do them anymore but very interesting, there is a beretta 92 as well.

I'd say it's the same body / system they're using on their airsoft shell eject GBB models (there are many videos around, e.g. this), which was never released in silver, but the hammer has a noticable "flaw": It's not curved in the back like the original, but straight on both the airsoft GBB and the PFC GBB Plus the mag design is similar with the gastank in the rear part of the mag and the front part for the shells.
Interesting idea to combine PFC and GBB...

Oh yes! I found out about these hybrids when I was into airsoft, before discovering modelguns. This crossover model really got my imagination! In the end it was easier to obtain modelguns than to find one of these.

I Had/have somewhere in bits, a Kokusai rifle which did both, it was a bolt action ?? spring BB, PFC carts ! will try to find it / out what it was . Anyone any ideas ??

Hi John, there is, somewhere in the pages of the forum, a post and thread about this Kokusai M16. It's a hybrid cap firing, shell ejecting BB firing model. I'll have a search for the post.

Def was not the m16, more of a sporting rifle, bolt action

I'd not seen nor heard about these Marushin pistols until I saw the youtube videos recently. As you said, there's no mention of when these were made. I would have liked one of these..........
