Short of sanding off the MGC finish and bluing my m1921 thompson, how might one remove an orange band placed on the cutts compensator by Japan airsoft? Black spray paint just doesn't seem to be n option. _________________ I like guns, just don't like killing people... so much

The comp should come off fairly easily - it only has a roll pin through it. Use lots of penetrating oil like Liquid Wrench, etc. Then order a new one from Francky or Shazhib & install. Good Luck! _________________ Rick

hey hey
thanks for the tid bit about the cutts being removable. I was thinking if I have to buy a new cutts anyway, I could take the plunge and actaully try to blue it myself. If I fail miserably, I'l just buy a new one as I would have to anyway.
