This is the market trailer for the "low-budget" film I am currently finishing, "The Last Sentinel".
It is still actually filming so very much a work in progress, but hopefully the trailer hints a little at what's to come, when it's fully polished and finished.

I thought the gun stuff might be of interest to this board.

http://www.gorillapictures.net/sentinel.html

I didn't use modelguns for any of the shooting, but the lead character "Tallis" has a den, in the old LA Herald Examiner building (a miniature Hearst Mansion), which is filled with "historical" guns, a lot of these were my model guns (My MP40 was dropped and broken, there).

It's not to be taken too seriously, but I hope you guys enjoy it, you represent the market demographic, if you know what I mean.

Jesse Johnson.

That does look pretty good, and also a lot better than what I had expected when I too read low budget (I invisaged a student film). That is a pretty impressive resume also.

Thank you guys, really appreciate the kind words.
It is Katee Sackhoff, she is terrific, and quite a gun hand, although her favorite prop on this picture were the daggers.
This film was made for less than a $million, which in LA, or anywhere is still low budget, really.
The Stunt guys were $20 a day for gas, doing me favors, that sort of thing. But, the idea is not to known that when you watch it.
I have to make this good, or I go back to falling on my head! Shocked

Thanks for the input, lads.

Jesse.

million dollars :O jeez lol but yea it is a very small budget for any film i guess, you appear to have used it pretty well though! looks as good as some of the higher budget stuff

oh and on your website, the poster for the sentinal (the top one on the main page) currently links to The Honorable. Not sure if this is an error or not, but if so, now you know heh

Looks Good to me and it does not look low budget, guns explosions, martial arts and a naked woman, my kind of film. Sure i recognised a couple of actors in it as well, one of them used to do loads of martial arts films, ex full contact fighter i think.

I figured it would click eventually.

I will keep you guys up to date on the movie, if that's cool with Mark.
Illuminati, thanks for the heads up, re. the website, it's getting redone this week.

We are shooting in Ojai, CA on May 6th, if anyone wants to visit the set, PM me. It will be a very "noisy" day.
JJ.

No worrys about that. This type of stuff is what I made the general firearms area for..

I had to go over to my friends house to watch your movie preview. It looks great and I like the look and feel of the movie.
