| Post by kickback Hi Phil, I have seen a couple of these models over the years and they were all display models only,there were actually two versions of this too,one that loaded what looked like standard 12 gauge shells and the other one had a cross type plug in the breech and loaded a funny type of shell that was grooved up the sides to fit persumely to stop real shells from being loaded. These models do turn up from time to time (there has been one for sale on this forum) and are a nice piece so you have a good find there. I hope this has helped a little Kickback | |

| Post by HIGUsanHi Phil, MGC M97 shotgun was designed for use paper cap. Paper caps are hold in the shell by poly washer or scotch tape. It has no firing pin in the breech and no chamber. Hammer piece that connected hammer hits the shell directly. Refer the pictures. shell | |
