Removing pins from pinned mgc mp40 barrel

What do you mean by pinned barrels? Do you mean the last of the imported MGC's with the blocked barrels? These are worthless to try to drill out the obstruction as the barrels have a hardened carbon steel insert that was cast into the barrels center. Also, the barrel,chamber/barrel trunion had plugs, holes as well as machined slots in the barrel trunion/chamber. The only sure way to restore them to fire caps again is to replace the barrel,Chamber/trunion and bolt. That is dificult, as parts are hard to find as well as they are expensive.
