| Post by Claymore MMM, they are a strange looking gun which probably puts people off but they are full metal and easy to clean and make a great sound when they fire. I only bought it because it was full metal, didn't like the looks really but the gun has grown on me since i bought it and for the price yours went for a very good buy, might have to do a vid and convince some more guys over the pond that its a good buy, even if it is a bit weird looking. | |

| Post by Phil Genovese I always liked the weapon as it was seen in a great Star Trek Original Series episode called BREAD AND CIRCUSES. In that episode, Captain Kirk learns that a Starfleet captain has betrayed his oath, turning his crew over to a Roman-style governor to fight to their deaths on an alien world which wants the Enterprise crew as fresh blood for the arena. All of the Enforcers carried the Madsen. And yes, I am a bit of a Science Fiction TV Show Geek... Guilty As Charged. _________________ Check out our eBay seller list! http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewListedItems&userid=private-punchy-airsoft&include=0&since=30&sort=3&rows=200 | |

| Post by shazhib mates,
Are you talking about Madsen from Hudson? if that's the case, handle folding stock with care when you extend. Know problem for this model is, upper hinge of the stock is very fragile, I saw many Madsen on auction with upper hinge broken. If this is not for Hudson, then, ignore my comment.
cheers, | |

| Post by allenb Phil - I also would have bid on the Madsen but Brits who bid on "firearm related" ebay auctions run the risk of having their ebay accounts banned. Yes I know your auctions have large warnings about the modelguns not being real firearms but it seems we still can have problems. And once your account is suspended thats it. Would it not be better to put your modelguns on here first at the price you want, and then if they don't sell - stick 'em on ebay? You'd have got more for the Madsen then I believe. But maybe I'm just being selfish, wanting to see more choice of modelgun sales on the forum! | |

| Post by Claymore Thanks for that shazhib, yes it is the hudson madsen and i have seen a few with the broken hinge pin but did not realsie that it was a problem with this model, so thanks again for the info. allenb, ebay is just like customs there is no rhyme or reason to how or when they act, customs will not charge for several imports then they hit you then dont get caught again for ages, ebay seems to be the same some people have a problem and others dont so its no gaurentee they will bann you but i do know it happens just a risk you have to take if you really want something | |

| Post by Phil Genovese Well, here is what my brilliant Power Seller Manager told me last year on the phone. Ebay does NOT police their own site as a general rule. People get nailed becasue all the other sellers are generally ratting each other out and bringing "infractions" to the attention of eBay Safe Harbor. This is an additional reason we run Private Auctions. All bidders names, history, country of origin are kept 100% private. No one can turn you in with a Private auction because they don't know anything about you. This allows many foreign bidders to jump in on the action of our eBay listings without fear of being nailed. We have many, many foreign bidders that participate regularly in our auctions and none of them have ever been charged for anything of the sort. Some of these bidders have been with us well before the eBay ban was put in place. Just a little bit of information you should probably think about. Not just with regards to my auctions, but other Private listings you might come across. | Post by allenb Claymore - Yes mate I agree about ebay - its just losing my account would be a right grand pain! Phil - Cheers for the information about the private auctions - I never knew that the buyers details were private from ebay as well - I will now pay your auctions more attention! Does this mean that you'll change the delivery options to take into account your international bidders? Would be nice to know the postage costs. All the best for you future business | |
