Company that produced metal modelguns in 1970s. Ads in "Gun" magazine appeared from 1970 to 1978, giving a hint at timeframe.
According to the magazine articles, TRC was subsidiary company made by jointed "Surplus Shop Nakata" and "Marushin Diecast industry". Nakata had assembled modelguns by themselves from 1965(?) and sold under their own brand. They ordered Marushin (metal diecast manufacturer) to make mold and modelgun parts.
Nakata and Marushin created common "Tokyo Replica Corporation" brand for producing modelguns and wholesale around 1970. Then Nakata stopped producing modelguns by themselves.
Marushin merged TRC after years and continue produce modelguns as Marushin Industry. Some products made by Marushin that succeeded from Nakata had marking of Nakata and sold with box of Nakata until 1977.
TRC produced metal Colt SAA, French Mlle 1935 pistol and MP40 modelguns. They probably also had P38, P08, TT-33 and Enfield No2.Mk.I, based on this page:
