| Your best bet may be to contact one of the specialists that convert MGC MP40s to Blank Firers.As I understand it, Blank Firing versions require custom made steel barrels so there could be a number of original vented zinc barrels sitting in boxes on a shelf somewhere. Try Kevin at http://www.modelguncollector.co.uk/ There may be a chance Francky might source one, but it's remote as the model hasn't been in production since the mid 1970s
