Yes, they are late rype PFC rounds, i have learnt that you only need a very small amount of flash powder to get a good effect

Thanks for your reply.
I wrote about case of 5mm cap small CP rounds.
I also am trying and erring for 7mm cap ones.
Is a good effect achieved when putting it a lot?

All the models i have used for muzzle flash have been for 7mm cap and all have worked well, my wa shan (hawsan) dolphin worked very well on full auto. Now you have said that 5mm is good i am going to give it a try in my MGC 459.

Hi Jintarow,

I didn't get much success when placing fine Magnesium powder directly into the cap. Enough powder was put in to just fill the cap.
Most of the cartridges misfired because the powder compressed enough to stop the pin striking the charge.

I've had little success using Mg powder placed on top of the piston because the ploystyrene type foam used to seal the hole in the cartridge top doesn't burn completely. It tends to melt and stick to the detonator pin.

Jintarow, this is the link to the wa shan dolphin on full auto using p220 rounds, a little bit to much flash powder but it worked great,
