Most strange modelgun I've seen.

Apparently it was manufactured by Marushin, not sure if cap-firer originally or custom-modified. It is not based on a real gun, but anime - that's all I know.

Yes its a cap firer , mine came as a kit but I think you could get them fully assembled too

you can see on the box lid its connected to one of the Japanese cartoon robot characters



Its made in olive green ABS and as you can see I`ve resisted the urge to assemble it





Not that builiding it would be a challenge exactly ! ( note the funky little bi-pod )





In my box there is a little reminder that the rear part flies out backwards upon firing



I have no idea how old this is but imagine they were pocket money prices

I found that this robot is called "Walker Gallia" from animated series "Combat Mecha Xabungle"

It is funny - now when I watch movies, I try to identify firearms and think if they are available as a modelgun :-)
Movies must be the main reason we buy them =)
