By the way after our worries about no one posting on this site its good to see that it is attracting a lot more interest now, i hope we keep growing and expand the interest in modelguns. with this increased interest and the recent releases of new and older models maybe we will influence the modelgun makers to make even newer model's, MP5 maybe or Sig 552. Wishfull thinking i know, but at least the modelgun situation is not dying.

Ok claymore, go here: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and then, type your message in the box and make sure that you put a space in between your words and periods like this: hello , I am from Britain . it is nice to meet you !

The spaces between the periods and apostrophes are important as the translation programe includes them into the translation and makes it really weird sounding to the Japanese!

Then, choose the English to Japanese selection and press the translate button and then high-light the translation and cut and paste....

Also, the translation will not work as well with mis-spelled words so, you have to be careful to spell the words correctly...

I use "Yahoo Japan on-line translator", too, but a translation site is all a similar feeling. When I translate Japanese into English, I may know it, but, in the case of the reverse, am troubled though a lot of translated sentences wracking my brains decode it plenty.
However, I am glad of gaining approximate imagination if even words form a line so that there is it between the same hobbies.

私も「YAHOO JAPAN」の翻訳サイトを使ってます。しかし、翻訳サイトはどこも似たような物です。日本語を英訳する時にはまだ良いですが、逆の場合は訳された文章はかなり頭を悩ませてくれます。
しかし、同じ趣味の仲間同士なので、単語さえわかれば大まかな意味が通じるのが嬉しいですね。

そうする事で、彼らも参加し易くなると思います。
彼らがこのWEBSITEを訪れた時に、日本語が並んでいる事で、彼らも読んでみる気になると思います。
Mark達が日本語を併記してくれているので非常に助かっていますが、中には、英文より難しい日本語もあります。

Is there a good on-line translator that can translate Japanese sites into English? I used babelfish but it does not longer work for me with Yahoo auction sites ...

madmike, if you use google to access the site it normally has a translator with it thats what i use

I have same issue. Yahoo Auctions used to work, but for the past year or so they disabled ability to translate and I always end up with their homepage instead.

But you're right there is a problem at this time for the translation.....

Its a windows 7/ IE 8/9 firefox compatibility issue
everythings going a bit weird as they all get ready for windows 8
