| Well the video makes it look ok but, ugh, I hate those open style cartridges. The MAC10 and VP70 would always gunk up and jam after about 5 shots. Maybe they've got a cleaner burning cap now. | |

It's always hard to translate japanese sites, but as far as I can tell, it says something like: "Release schedule: February 15th 2009", so that would mean it's already released in Japan. Not sure though, as there are several more kanji behind the date, don't know what they mean. http://www.taniokoba.co.jp/gm7_0811.html

| yes this is a great looking model and i was going to get one but have a look at the price just over 36000yen which makes it nearly £300 thats a lot of money for a plastic model, of course like any true modelgunner i am still tempted | |

| Folks,
Yes, it is on sale, however, I heard first lot of 300 has been sold already (whole seller sales basis).
I've fired this model, here is pros and cons:
Pros: great looking, more modern 1911 easy to load the caps easy to clean the rounds fires great, you can do serial fire as in the vid the rounds fly at least 3-4m
Cons: more frequent chamber clearing than CP-HW rounds Need to replace det-pin rubber in every 100 shots or so expensive
I got one, but had already sold to somebody so that could not give you detailed photo...
