| Welcome to the forum gyrene, As shazhib said, a few photos in the For Sale section here should give a good idea what your Sterling could be worth. Is it a PFC firing model or has the bolt been cut? _________________ Cerwyn

| ah,from these photo's you can see that it was an American import model, and to be used as a dummy gun and not a blowback model. The bolt face has been cut away at a .45 degree angle so it will not feed cartridges and the barrel will probally be a blocked version barrel....good news, that insert where the detonator pin should be is removable ,and once out you will be able to see what barrel you have ,usually on these models the chamber also has a slot cut into it but i can not see this from these pictures. Good news though is that these are areas that can be rectified,a replacement bolt can be scourced from various places or a custom steel one can be purchased from www.modelguncollector.co.uk the hardest part to get is an original mgc magazine ,but a real steel sterling mag can be converted to fit and work in the mgc sterling . I hope that this has helped a little Gyrene,i have one of these modelguns and they are great (look at the video section on this forum to see them working) and if you are still unsure...i'll buy it!! Cheers Kickback | |
