| Greetings all!! This is my first post as you can see. I have been a firearms enthusiast for nearly 35 of my 40 years. I live in Boise Idaho in the USA! I Have been a hobby gunsmith specializing in the AR15/M16 for the past 20 years. I have built many different verities of AR15 including a model 607 clone. As a young man flipping through my first catalog from the US company "The Collectors Armory" I have been fascinated with Model guns. But with most of my time focused on real AR rifles I had very little experience with model guns. After many years dreaming of owning a MGC M16 I recently had the opportunity to drive to Hollywood to visit a friend who works in the prop making side of the movie industry. After a lengthy visit I left with three boxes full of MGC guns in various forms of completion. Most of which are veterans of the stage and screen. I hope your expertise can guide me through the lengthy restoration process ahead. I will also have quite a few odds and ends to trade or sell. Cheers Some of the guns I was lucky to find! All need some sort of restoration: MGC M16's Hudson AK47's MGC 1897 Shotgun's Rubber prop M16's foam M1 Garand MGC Luger P08 MGC plugfire M16A1? assorted revolvers many sets of A1 handguards for various models... I will post pictures in the respective threads once I snap them | |

| Indeed welcome to the forum, Although I haven't had many MGC models other members have got quite a few between them and should be able to point you in the right direction for repair or spare parts. 8ace | |

| I will try to post a few pics of veteran film guns. I shrunk the pics down maybe a little to much. I am still trying to find out the history behind each one. But have no doubt they are all veterans. Lets see if this works... MGC M16 Hudson AK47 MGC 1897 Shotgun Unknown Old Army Revolver As you can see they all have some degree of restoration. This is a small sample of the three boxes of prop guns. I will post pics once they are ready. Thanks, Dave... | |
