| That is VERY interesting! Marushin does many interesting things - shell-ejecting airsoft, and now this modelgun. It is good to see new ideas for modelguns :-) | |

| Yep, I agree, Marushin is THE maker of shellejectors, be it airsoft or modelguns. I really appreciate their courage to produce pure collector's items! You'll probably never see an airsoft player with Marushin Glock or Kimber shellejector or an 98k in the field, as they would have to gather all the shells from the ground afterwards. So they completely ignore the much larger player-scene in favor of us collectors. And they are around for a LONG time with that tactic - pretty fascinating. GO MARUSHIN GO! | |

| Marushin do seem to be pushing the boundaries further these days. This hybrid GBB and cap firing model is very interesting.I hope they won't lose the 100% realism true modelguns offer though. Having a really reliable firing, shell ejecting and smooth cycling gun will be great, let's hope they carry on _________________ Cerwyn

| To be honest, I am not big fan of Marushin blowback gas gun, because it is actually, "slow back". On top of that, some of gun's slide do not slide back fully, it is not what we call "full stroke". However, SIG P210 is very temptative. P210 is the gun which draw me into firearms hobby. If Marushin can sell P210 in HW, full stroke, then, it could be a "BUY" for me.
Another one is Garand. I wonder if Marushin can make with shell ejecting on this model. If they can make in shell ejecting and famous "ping" at the end, it will be very temtating.
Will see.....

| These isn't something new...Marushin already made something similar back in the 90s (i.e. CZ75 "Extreme") The differences - the old CZ75 holds 15 rounds just like real steel & the gas tank is fitted inside the grip instead of the mag... Regarding the blowback performance that shazhib raised - Marushin never emphasised on blowback action like Marui or KSC because they focus more on "innovative mechanism" instead of what had been already established. The downside is the fragility of their guns... For shellejecting longarms, I've read that M1 Carbine along with some others (I forgot exactly what other guns are) are on the cards already | |

| One thing is very interesting. Hybrid shell/PFC GBB looks just like hybrid shell/airsoft GBB. Frame, magazine and slide look the same. Barrel and cartridges are different.
If this is correct, then maybe all hybrids, not only 1911, will become available as hybrid PFC/GBB! One photo shows poster with many hybrid models, not sure if airsoft of PFC.
What do you think? | |

| Technically yes - these guns can fire caps and the shells eject without any gas & the shells can be ejected with the gas alone without any cap...
Back in the mid 90s Marushin chose at least 3 models - Colt Government / Beretta M92FS / CZ 75 for these hybrids...so it's very likely the Berettas will be the next!

| Hey, if the hybrid system means less jams, I'm definitely interested. | |

| I assume it should have less jams. Having smooth blow back with ejecting shell is the reason of this model being. If it fires (jams) like Hudson modelgun, nobody would buy it.
I am very curious as to how those long guns Marushin is planning works.

| I just noticed that this announcement says it will be an assembly kit: - Quote :
- The new assembly kit M1 Carbine model should be in very affordable price range.
Interesting - Marushin already has a long history of assembly kits, and they are fairly cheap.

| Not surprising at all for the industry - especially after Tanaka's "Casyopea" incident: don't try to be too innovative | |
