| Hello
What's an average price for a blank firer in the UK or anywhere else in the world? I was just wondering, because in the shops here, they ask quite different prices for the same guns. For example, 1 shop sells the bruni glock for 130€, another shop sells exactly the same gun for 150€.

| They're also available in Blue, Yellow, Green..... Black, Gun-metal, blued, Chromed finishes are available but to a select few only.
The Violent Crimes Reduction Act over here in the UK effectively bans the sale of any Replica Firearm to anyone that isn't a Re-enactor, Airsoft skirmisher etc. There's loads more info here about this Law.
The law affects Realistic Imitation Firearms, and states that a "toy" gun painted in a range of bright colours(or transparent) such as orange, yellow, green is no longer realistic. This means that those folks that aren't Re-enactors, Airsoft skirmishers etc can buy them legally.
Blank Firers like this orange one, so called "2-tone" Airsoft guns are on sale here in the UK.
It is an offence for a non-reenactor etc etc to paint such a gun black or silver as it then becomes Realistic again. _________________ Cerwyn

| The only ones that really get sold new over here are the bbm glock and the umarex p99 as they have been aproved. The p99 is blue :-). 'cowboy' guns are not affected as the design dates before 1899 (or there abouts) Reenactors etc can still import them it seem unless they are the front venting types designed to fire the gas pelets out. You can still buy a deactivated handgun etc or one of the co2 pistols that look exactly the same as the blank firers if you are over 18 as they are not a realistic imatation firearm. I'm not making this up, honest!
It doesn't have anything to do with it being a blank firer as such, all model guns are the same. If you had a white plant pot in the shape of a beretta that would be classified as a RIF.

| Here in the US they tend to run $100-$300, generally all top or side venting with orange plugs in the end. Lots of bruni, kimar, voltran, some ekols and a few umarex models. Some pandora as well. | |

| Wish I could buy the ekol jackal dual shiny gold here somewhere! In Belgium only Bruni, Valtro, Kimar and a few Umarex are available. | |

| In Poland most blanks are banned (=considered a real weapon requring weapon permit). They are allowed only up to 6mm calibre, so there is very little choice.
If you somehow manage to get a permit, you would pay around 180-250GBP for Rohm or Umarex 9mm.
The ones you can get without permit are starter pistols, looking nothing like a modern pistol, they cost 25-50 GBP.
Recently you can also get revolvers for 6mm blanks for ~120GBP.
