Hello!
I own a M29 Revolver from Kokusai!

It is a nice modelgun, but one thing bothers me: The cylinder isnt that stabile. It can be moves slightly when locked in the frame.
All works fine so this is no damage, I think it is normal with HW Kokusai Revolvers, but it bothers me...

Anybody know modifications, to make the cylinder inflexible when locked in the frame?

byes!

Hi BadBean,
-Is the "wobble" at the front or rear of the cylinder?
-also is its wobble side to side or front to back?
How much has it been used, (is it worn or built that way)
Hope this makes sense to you:)

Hi!

It seems to be built like that...

It has been used yes... about 24 shots.

The "wobble" is side to side, though it is not very much. The functions stay the same.

You could "tighten" up the feel of the cylinder slightly by useing grease on the internal moving parts (this is NOT recommended on any revolver which is going to be used regularly as grease attracts and hold dirt which can cause wear long term, also it spoils (slows) that lovely "spinning" cylinder moment when action is open:) great when watching films Embarassed )
The grease will take up any "play/wobble" on the center spindle/yoke/extractor rod collar.
The frame hole where the center pin rod "clips/locks" into place may also be slightly to big (this can be reduced with a custom made insert or a "dirty" mod is to glue a very thin cross section half o-ring into side of hole that center pin rod end presses upto when locking into frame.
Only other suggestion (check this first) is to check that the center pin spring is not too weak and not pushing the center pin hard into frame and locking tight.

Is the wobble on the whole cylinder, as in wobbling in and out of the frame when you push it, or is it on the rotate of the cylinder, so that it wobbles clockwise/anticlockwise as you turn it?
