KSC M93R Internals Empty
PostSubject: KSC M93R Internals   KSC M93R Internals Icon_minitimeThu May 20, 2010 11:05 pm

Does anyone know how to take the internals out from the slide on a KSC M93R?

Theres no screws inside, and if you pull the sides of the slides apart it doesnt appear that the parts are glued in.

The only sign of anything holding it to the plastic slide, is a little metal pin on the top.

Now before i accidentally break this, does anyone know how to dismantle it?

Thanks

lewis

As far as I can say it is glued in place :-(

This thread also confirms that:

Quote :

KSC along with all of the other modelgun manufacturers) glues in the breech block assembly to prevent "remodeling" or conversion to a real firing pin.
You can remove and replace the extractor assembly, but you cannot replace the firing pin unless you either replace the slide($$$$$) or you remove the glued-in breach block assembly as the firing pin retaining pin is a "blind" pin and it cannot be accessed from the bottom.

Thanks for the link, thats very interesting and gives some great details about removing it.

Its a bit scarey though..expensive if you break it.
