| Subject: Late Marushin UZI firing Marushin MP40/UZI cartridges Posted by Mark Mon Aug 04, 2008 7:22 pm | |
| Posted by MarkI think that this was at least 20~25 rounds fired in succession. These where old somewhat beat up cartridges and no other preparation other than a clean gun, tight lower bolt assy, tight detonator and grease in the cartridges. I was using the MGC 7mm caps (one per cartridge) I ensured that the cartridge(s) rims where screwed on tight before loading them into the magazine. This is an all stock late model Marushin Uzi with the aluminum receiver using the original detonator as well as the stock un-cut recoil spring as well.. So, without further ado.. I also held the gun rather tightly to my shoulder and griped it tightly as well. whether or not that helped it ripped off all of those rounds all the same.. | |
