| There goes "no matter what" ;-D Price probably reflects that this piece is unique. I did not expect it to go so high though. This is now the most expensive model I've seen.
Deactivated MP5 looks great, and with SAS usage it's even more interesting :-)

That's why I stated "locally" (in HK) - I don't want the guns to be tempered with by Customs on both side and also the risks of losing it somewhere after I paid premium prices for this precious bid (without mentioning extras on postage & handling)... And most importantly: men tell lies ...

Normal price for new German MP5 I've learnt stands at ~USD $5000 and recently released Chinese one "NR08" cost half of it...but now somebody "snatched" it so forget it... Not a good sign to see so many precious old-spec deacts released from private hands recently - either even average British needs cash desperately (so do the government - selling off Royal Mail) or old-spec deacts are to be totally outlawed very soon...

| Talking about a locally available Hobby Fix: when I was out in the gun shops a couple of days before Christmas, a pre-owned M4A1 fitted with real KAC "skeleton" handguard for sale (on consignment) with price tag HKD$16,000 (USD $2,056)... Holding it on my hands, although a nice one but quite a lot of heavy scratch marks on it as well (notably area under "AUTO" stamped on the selector switch and under the bolt cover plate - then lighter pits on other areas) - then Hobby Fix problem: the corners circled with red are too sharp which I believe not the case on real steel: Declined the offer in the end... | |
