| Hello, And yes, i'm a new one in the model gun family. So i have to receive in some days my first model gun and i have already receive my spare cartridges and my 7mm caps. It's marushin's cartridges and fire center cap. So, i have read the very helpful post here : https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t1237-cartridge-types-explainedbut there is no explaination (with photos for exemple) how loading fire center cartridges. In which way put the valve for exemple ?? the same question is for the way of the cap too, Ok , ok i'm not good but i don't want to damage my first model gun. Ok so if someone can help me, it will be kind. I can put some photos of one cartridge and the inside too. See you | |

| Ok thanks guys.
Just a last question, in the cartridge, the "piston" has 2 sides with a hole in the center. One side has a hole "flat", the other side has a hole a little bit "dug". There is a specific direction or not?? Do you understand what i mean??(Sorry i'm french and i often looking for my words...).
see you | |

| the piston goes in first and the cone part (the dug out bit) this bit is the top and goes in the round first. the cap then goes in and then the bottom peire with the pin is put on cartridge tehn ready to fire. | |

| It should look like this, flat side facing cap (not in photo), "hole" facing cartridge tip. "Hole" is required, because detonator pin in barrel enters this hole to push piston and cap. If flat side is facing cartridge tip, detonator pin can get damaged. Cartridge can also fire automatically, without pulling trigger, because piston is pushed too soon. Please see also "PFC(old)" cut-through drawing of such cartridge to see inside: https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t2280-guide-to-cartridge-types-please-review | |
