| PM sent shazhib...please see what can be done thanks... OK my issue aside...maybe we'll see how this incident affect the toygun world in Japan - some shops were closed for several days as some might be slightly affected by the aftershocks while others might feel consumers have other focus... Not sure how many gun makers are affected by this incident - especially those that are located in Eastern Japan... Also will radiation be part of the reason for ceased production of guns - and how long will it be affected? I know world's watch market will be gravely affected as some 90% of watch movements are supplied by Japan: watches might be in short supply in several months as the sign shows...and gun makers might physically focus on rebuilding Japan as well therefore toygun production will slow down or maybe completely ceased for months - completely understandable... Now I start to think should I get that Tanio-Koba M4 while I still can... | |

| Jim, Fightdesigner,
I think you don't have to "gaman (keep up with, stand for....still do not know right term in English). My perspective is, yes, maybe some fall in sales for a while since people feel there are lot other thing need to care of.
But, majority of maker resides around Tokyo area, HWS resides Nagoya (ever more west of Japan). Also, power plant issue is getting better than initially.
I do not think there is a huge impact to toy gun industry for now. They face more challenge from cheap Chinese made full metal airsoft.

我慢 shall better mean as "to bear with it" (at least for this instance)... - Quote :

...two sides - before TM made almost entirely plastic AEG for quite a fortune (still cheaper than old GBB though) so maybe without the Chinese input (if I put it in this way) the rest of the world won't get up their act... BUT - I also know Chinese makers should not engage in such copycat business at all - stealing away intellectual properties in such appalling manner (again another soul searching)...Chinese (Taiwanese included) were "kept away" at recent shooting shows such as IWA /Shot Show (afraid they'll copy straight away) ... | |

| I am not sure what to say. I still feel deeply affected by the disaster that hit Japan. I am impressed by the way the whole Japanese people copes with the situation. Maybe the government as well as TEPCO are not always saying and doing the right things (I am sure it would be exactly the same here in Germany), the dignity and pride of the people is outstanding. If a nation is able to adapt and overcame, it is Japan. Thius disaster has changed a lot I am sure. At least I have changed. | |
