Well I managed to break it down:
Start out with the Colt .25
Remove magazine and make sure there are no cartridges in the chamber. Lock the slide back by flipping the safety all the way up
With slide locked back, rotate the barrel counter-clockwise about 180*. Do not force it.
Release the slide lock while holding on to the slide. The slide, barrel and recoild guide should slide forward off the frame.
Rotate barrel back to original position and remove barrel from slide.

These are the channels in the frame that the barrel locks into
The firing pin and extractor are one piece. From what I can tell it just sits in the slide
and of course the tiny cartridges. Three pieces, have steel pin in rear of case.
