i have the chance of getting an SMG western style colt 45 does anyone have any more information about this company and the guns they made and what cartridges they chamber

| "SMG" is "Safe Metal Gun" mark that various Japanese manufacturers applied on metal modelguns. Based on model and availability it is most likely that your Colt SAA was manufactured by MGC. In such case you can find a manual here: https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t103-mgc-colt-saa-manualAre there any other markings on this model that might help to narrow down the details? | |

| thanks for that i need to look past the SMG markings ,ive got some 44-40 shells may see if they fit but may need to get some 45 shells to check it out . the pins to fire the caps are at the bottom of the cylinder like my MGC colt saa 45 | |

| Hello Katanafae, If the detonator pins are in each cylinder then the model will most likely be a full metal model with a blocked barrel It could be a Kokusai model too, they made some excellent Colt .45 SAA models. _________________ Cerwyn
