Hudson Sten

Anybody have a Hudson Sten that they can look at for me? I bought an earlier version of the hudson Sten but, the cast zinc receiver was busted in 5 pieces (i bought it that way ) I thought that since the early receivers weren't available anymore, i would get the newer version parts instead.

So, i ordered the newer parts..When they arrived, i discovered that many parts would fit and some would unfortnately, not. The bolt extractor pin hole was drilled off center and the extractor would not fit. The chamber, seems to be too long to fit properly in the receiver recess and i can't see how it is supposed to be held in place as i cannot see any visible way to hold it there.

I am sure that this will be a fun gun to shoot if i can get the proper parts

OH!! man, Mark if you can't sort it out i doubt the rest of us can, we look towards you to sort our problems out not the other way around. unless someone has an older model and can suggest something.

I am at a loss on this one, sorry, but if i can find out anything i will let you know.

I am sure that someone will be able to look at their example of the Sten and let me know how the chamber is afixed in.
