Which One To Choose...

MP43/1: 30pcs MP44: 90pcs StG44: 30pcs

As I already got the MP44 so I wondered which the MP43/1 or the StG44 is more worthwhile to get...?

Flip a coin :-)

MP43/1 has a different front, and additional scope mounting plate.
Stg44 is simplified from MP44 to save production costs.

In my opinion differences are minimal, so unless there is something specific that picks your interest - just flip a coin.

Tomio has been very keen to ensure details are accurate on these. Surface finish changed from Bluing to Phosphate or even bare steel covered with clear varnish towards the end of the War when the StG44 was produced.
Tomio's StG44 will have the Phosphate finish. Correct stamping marks will be used on each variant, with Factory Code and WaffenAmpt Inspectors' codes being correct. The StG44 will also carry StG44 stamping on the upper receiver

These latest models could be described as Museum exhibits showing exact differences between each one. It's a difficult choice to make, either MP43/1 or StG44 would make or interesting comparison and discussion points when placed alongside your MP44.

MP44 remains as the most popular choice so Tomio san might thought too much for his loyal customers...
