real pistol grip will fit with no modification, real stock will fit with a little material scraped off the grove.

hand guards required extending the barrel 1/4 inch. I made a steel drop in barrel.

real trigger guard fits with no modification. a real mag release can be fitted, but wont hold a magazine. drilling out selector divot 1/8 then 3/32 allows it ti fir a real sector divot and spring. the real magazine will fit, but wont lock unless the bolt is to the rear. if you bore out a steel hammer it will engage the trigger, but not the disconnect.

real sights will fit if you drill recesses into the upper receiver, it is slightly wider than real thing. the real forward assist will work but requires you bore out the hole its in slightly. real ejection port cover will fit but wont stay closed.

also, a real charging handle will fit if you file off the tabs on front. but then it falls down when you lock the bolt to the rear and slide it forward.

I just got my M16A1 and M655, love them with the exception of the ABS stock and foreguard, will the airsoft equivs fit on them? And will they feel of a higher quality? it really lets the whole gun down.
