new 1960s Japanese replicas arrive ...both PFC

Well they arrived this morning and I am impressed...Denix just doesn't compare to the quality of these model guns
Pics below...but a couple of quick questions

Hudson Nambu marked on left hand side receiver

Chrysanthenum then serial nuimber 0023
then below Japanese character 42 7 ...below it HUDSON

Right Hand Side receiver standard Japanese markings

It doesn't seem to cock and click correctly...locks back on empty mag...can feel it moving internal hammer but doesn't seem to engage....detonator present in chamber

CMC Colt Single Action Army dated model of 1968
serial number A 0523
also PFC with cap rounds and detonator in chamber

Has box which looks like the same box was used for three different versions and instructions with exploded parts view

Can pull hammer back a small way and click but won't index properly
any help would be appreciated

should i pull them apart ??

You know you want to Eric, yes pull them apart and take a look. Quite often it'll be a small part which someone may have.

last time i did springs went everywhere ...have to treat like a real gun to dissassemble LOL

well had nambu appart...surprisingly strips very similar to the real pistol ..two pins in trigger guard assembly unlike the real one where you just push safetey in ( have to do it as well as remove pins )...top pin missing but the single bottom pin holds it in Ok ...looks like the trigger bar to the rear where it engages the rear of the bolt is the reason for failing to cock properly sometimes ...weak spring maybe..anyway barrel comes out along with bolt , firing pin removes etc
back together Ok and am not going to worry about the weak spring as can't fire it anyway...its beautiful anyhow....next the Colt Army to inspect and fiddle with

You're right about the Colt springs- just be careful....I usually strip my down on a desk inside a long but high walled cardboard box - tends to catch bits if needed.
