I went to Japan with my family last year, was in Tokyo for 4 days. I purposely made a trip to UNCLE, took the train to the station and walk for about 10 mins before I reached the store. The store is small but it is jam packed with modelguns, classic airsoft guns etc. Due to the lack of space, the modelguns were stacked like sardines it is impossible to check every one of them out. But the store owner didn't mind me 'digging' lol...
The modelguns just made me drool, I ended up didn't buy anything as it will be too hard to export and import them with me, gun items don't seem to mix with airport etc, just don't want to hassle as I travel with young children. The wife and kids went to the shop with me too but due to space constraint they ended up waiting outside during the winter time for a good 30 mins.
I visited the shop not because I want to buy something, I am just curious how a Japanese modelgun shop looks like. UNCLE has a very long history (after MGC) so I thought I would pay them a visit. Was thinking of visiting Tomio at Shoei also but he is outside of the main Tokyo area (in Saitama) therefore we couldn't make it.
UNCLE is a shop you must visit if you go to Tokyo (in Shinjuku) without a doubt.
