MP 38 Replica

Hi Guys,

This is my first post although I'm a long time lurker, so please be gentle.

I have been collecting Deacts for many years, the prices of these have been steadily rising over the past 5 years or so to the point that some are now out of the range of us normal working people, in particular the MP38 which if an old spec in excellent condition can make £6000 plus.

There is a Militaria dealer offering a Ukrain made factory deactivated MP38, it was originally a Blank firer.
I have done a search of the forum and found a couple of threads on similar MP38s, although Blank firers. What are your thoughts on these guns.

Id suggest a getting a marushin or mgc mp40 and turning it into a 38 then you whould be able to have it fire and wuldnt have the import headaches that you might have bringing something from ukraine,
there is someone doing the replacement uppers to achive the 38 look, im sure someone will be along shortly who knows were to get them.
have you got a link to the ones your on about ?
