| I noticed later that it is soft air not a model gun, although the first pages description is misleading, the second page definitely says that it is soft air.
Honestly, I think you would have to be a little nuts to spend that sort of money on what is essentially a toy gun, in this economic climate. But, these things are free to look at, right?
Jon - The rules and prices on "deactivated" firearms are very different in the US to the UK, getting a type 96 as a dummy weapon ( a parts kit built around a dummy receiver), or just a parts kit would be about the same cost as the replica in the US, if you could find one for sale - I'm sure you're aware of this, as a cursory scanning of any international gunboards covers these differences, ad nauseum - so I won't bore you - but, it is interesting to know they are so cheap to buy in the UK.

| the us have very tight laws concerning this type of thing.. yet strangley in the uk where firearms are very strict there seems to be that principle that its ok as long as it has been deactivated.... which to me is strange.... people in the usa cant even hold a mag for this.. (ok state pending) but I do understand.. its really strange. | |

| the goverment doesnt realise how easy it is to machine your own barrel.... make a firing pin... and even the springs.. as I said it before these are more dangerous than having replica and blank firing weapons.... ps I am in east yorkshire (humberside) but from the usa.. so have a good knowledge of both sides of the pond. | |

| Not only this is a toy - this is an AEG instead of gas blowback so don't expect any recoil when firing...
