| Thsi is one of my favourite modelguns the Automag, this is the MGC version made of HW plastic, this one has a metal bolt as the problem with this model is it comes with a HW bolt which if you are lucky will last 1 mag but ususally destroys itself in 2 rounds. Not good makes it a wallhanger but if you can get a metal bolt for it (hard but not impossible) then you get a good firing model. The gun is smaller than the real thing and is a nightmare to strip and i mean a real pain, the marushin Automag is real size, metal and strips real easy so is really the better model, but there is something about the MGC that makes it a good gun dont ask me what but i really like it Gets tempramental when the det pin starts to get dirty as you can see in the last part of the vid. https://youtu.be/oXOa0p0mMlE

| Big thanks for valuable information on MGC Automag! I did not know it was so different from Marushin model, and so finicky. | |

| Nice video - you got it running nicely.
I found three boxes of live ammo for these recently - 2X.44 and 1X.357 rimless AMP - really cool stuff from the 80's. | |

| Loved this gun from first seeing it on Dirty Harry, i would love to fire one but i hear they are tempremental and jam a lot. having never seen the real thing i can only go by the marushin model which i assume is approx the right size and to be honest its not the most comfortable gun to hold, i have a feeling you would not want to fire to many rounds from it. Would still love to own one though. | |
