Ok I may be a little sad and on my own with this however I have recently aquired an interest in some of the old caps boxes that have been going over the years .

To me this adds another facet to this hobby .

Here are a few :

Vintage Caps Caps

some of these are the paper type that I think may pre date modelguns and for use in normal play guns.

Notice the green MGC cap box (these are now yellow of course) and also the Marushin 5mm , this box contains 100 caps but is all card with no polystyrene inner , note also this green is used for marushins 7mm caps and the 5mm box is now red.

Below the 7mm MG is a red 5mm MG Cap box but is included as the graphic on the back shows the early type open cartidges .

I have a few spare of the ones on the right so if anyone has any swopsies ??
the box top right is for the single paper type cap for modelguns and gives their stats as 4.5mm 1mm and 0.01g

anyone else got any interesting ones ?

Hi Doc, this is not sad Doc its just another part of collecting modelguns and someone needs to keep tabs on the history of these models. I used to collect all the cartridege boxes of the rounds i bought but now i have had to reduce the boxes down (no room) but i still intend to keep a couple boxes of each round i have. Do you know if there is any difference in performance of the old caps, more powerful or more flash or no difference.
