These are the tin-type images - from the photo-shoot.
1860's camera 4-7 second exposure.
The images are reversed of course Smile

ZB26 or MG26(t) The (t) is from the German from Czech.
It was from this original design that the license was given to the UK - hence licensed from Brno + built in Enfield - Bren.
It was licensed to many countries including the Nanking arsenal in China.
I have seen variants in 8x57mm, .303, 7.62x54, 8X56r, 7.62x39 (ak mags), and the L4A3 in 7.62x51mm.

Just being pedantic but this is the MG34 in AA mode. The tube with saddle (on floor under tripod in 2nd photo') fits over the knob at the front of the Lafette.

Edited - AA "sight set-up" - yes, am aware that shooting at planes without the AA extension would be difficult, unless they were coming in very low Smile
