I have both types of cartridges - and quite a number of the "old type"

Now with all the horror stories of the old type and therefor hopefully benefit of the new type (evolution)

I am wondering if anyone have considered to make 1mm cuts in the center bushing of the old type to give it same "relief" function as in the evolution cartridges ??

I am thinking of 1mm wide and 2-2,5mm deep ?

HAVE ANYONE TRIED THIS ?
