| Interesting little thing . http://www.replicaairguns.com/posts/2013/10/10/pedersoli-derringer-guardian-11-45mm-177-pellet-pistol-table.htmlA youtube video shows the replica airguns guy use modelgun caps x 2 instead of number 11 percussion caps to fire a .177 pellet out the muzzle loader with good power . Apparantly the percussion caps produces near 6 ft lbs of power . Not bad for such a tiny thing . Probably illegal in UK Read somewhere that the use of anything other than air for motive power to propel any projectile is a no no off license over here . Also unsure of legal status percussion caps for none SGC . FAC persons.Does anybody know ? Available to purchase with no restrictions elsewhere in Europe of course - its quite interesting and I would buy one - looks very well made . Carl. | |

| This may be of help:- http://www.guntrader.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=135287The link above suggests, quite correctly, that Primers cannot be purchased without an FAC covering the Firearm they're intended for. It does suggest, however, that Percussion Caps can be bought without an FAC.It's probably best to check with your local RFD.If I remember correctly, PFC caps contain 0.01grams of Charge. Percussion Caps, according to the above link are deemed to be 0.7 grains = 0.045grams which is considerably more charge.Probably best to avoid them for Modelgun use, God knows they're fragile enough as they are! _________________ Cerwyn
