Good old endoshiji have a marushin thompson in their 2nd hand section described as a 3/4 size.
First off i did not know that they made a thompson and why 3/4 the size, it seems its a fully functioning gun and i am intrigued to know a bit more about it anyone know much about this model, how well it fires what rounds it takes what difference the 3/4 size makes etc.

Hi claymore,

I first observed the Marushin Thompson a year or so ago on eBay when one of the sellers had one up for auction. I think that Marushin made these for a limited time back in their early days when they really didn't pay that much attention to the details. They really aren't that good looking in my opinion and they lack details like the selector switch as they are full auto only. Also, these are paper cap modelguns and i think that the cartridges are somewhat rare too. The 3/4 scale is funny looking too as the pistol grip is larger than it should be for a 3/4 scale sized modelgun. These are strange modelguns and i would collect one only if i wanted a version of every modelgun Thompson made by the modelgun manufacturers..

Well that settles that i wont get one, cheers Mark i thought you would know it just sounded interesting and for endo not too badly priced.

I used to have a scaled model of the MP40 a metal one non firing many years ago but that seemed from what i remember to be a detailed copy and had it fired i think it would of been fun. I gave it to the FX dog handlers for something for their dogs to search for and do i regret that now.
