Hi All
Anybody else got an early (front venting)Hudson MK2 Sten, If so, does the magwell turn to cover ejection port? I cannot get it to move round, I dont want to force it.
I know the later version does

Hi,
I've got a MK2 sten but I don't know what version it is. The thing that stops the magwell turning round is the ejector, it's the plate that extends up the back of the mag.
If it has the centre ejector, just pull the pin at the front and it should rotate.
Have you got any photo's of the internal area?

This part circled extends into the receiver and is stopping the magwell to turn?

Yep that's the ejector which is stopping the mag housing rotation.
Hudson seems to have copied the ejector design from the mk1 and mk3 as they had the fixed extended type were as the mk2 had one mounted inside the receiver.
Mk1 part number 8
Mk2 part number 6 (but not showing the internal ejector)
