hi all

im trying to make myself a replica sten, but having trouble cutting the bolt handle slot, at the moment

would you suggest drill holes along it first or just one hole so the mill can fit ?, im using the correct size of 3/8 but cuts it way too big , any tips ?

also anyone know where I can get 36mm round mild steel bar/rod ?
