| Incidentally , the CA Roni kits are available for several pistols including : Sig Sauer P226 / Glock 17/18 / Walther P99 / Beretta 92 FS .
These kits will work with modelgun replicas just as well as blanks and represents an interesting project base since once fitted your pistol is essentially converted into a tactical carbine .
Ok gonna have a go at finding an image hosting site for some pics for you guys .

| Very nice, i assume your B/F is top venting so where is it going to vent through on the Roni? | |

| Images added for you Carl Nice job you've done there! I've got one (albeit plastic RONI chassis) with a WaShan M9 Dolphin in it. _________________ Cerwyn

| Thanks Cerwyn ( hope you are well my friend ) Thanks for hosting pics Cerwyn - was unsure if it was correct . Took me long enough to get my head around photobucket now thats gone - with ALL my photos dammit !! Pleased with the Roni . I suspect my chassis is same as yours . There is plastic in its construction but seems to be alloy ( cold to touch ) where it counts . Mine had spacers to adapt to different 92 Beretta models ? The donor pistol is a little fat , and an imperfect fit , select fire controls down on the left frame which is hard to get to with chassis kit . The magazine located at rear is RS Beretta with inerts ( just for show ) An airsoft chassis is not built for 9mm pak pressures so I have some concerns , but for now its just a prop and a nice one at that C | |

| Hi Carl
I'm well thanks mate!
The CAA RONI kit I bought was made by CAA's Airsoft division and bought from eHobby Asia. A small selection of spacers was included to suit a couple of different manufacturers models, sadly none fitted the WaShan. As you've found, the select fire model is a fraction too wide so 8ace made some suitable spacers, cut out clearance slots in the RONI to allow free movement of the slide. Safety is accessible but select fire isn't, no real problem as it's much more fun in full auto anyway. A little more space was cut around the ejection port plus a tweak of the WaShan ejector has it running really well. An extended KSC M93R mag holding 30 P220s finishes it off nicely.
Losing Photobucket has been a real pain, I'm working my way through 3000 odd of my own modelgun photos and reposting them here using servimg. I'll get to the end one day!
All the best _________________ Cerwyn

| Were you able to get this to work? I tried the same thing, and it wouldn't cycle properly.

| Hi Yes, the WaShan / YT Beretta M92 works using MGC P220 cartridges. The CAA RONI kit needed the ejection port opening a little and the Ejector needed modifying slightly to send spent carts out sideways rather than upwards. _________________ Cerwyn
