| I remember that in the 80's I had a Reck Cobra revolver, it was very well made and lasted for years, very little sign of use even after lots of blanks let off.

| Another good video Kevin, the black rifle is my point of interest so I really enjoyed it 👍 Wished the rubber ducks were available here in the UK, always wanted one to add to my collection. Nick | |

| Pop quiz time then - one of those was a real AR15 (again, joys of living in the US). Will likely be adapting it to fire blanks, but haven't yet. Can you guess which one?

I watched a cracking video about blank firing real AR's, it was one of Forgotten Weapons with Ian. They were at a film prop company in Canada if I recall correctly. You must check it out, it was very informative and lots of tips. I'll watch yours again and enter the quiz, is there a good prize for the winner 😊 | |

| And yes, you're the lucky one having access to all sorts of loveliness in the US. If you ever come across a period correct A1 ejection port cover give me a shout. | |

| Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Still getting it set up, since it's new. Waiting on some parts I ordered - sling mounts, bipod and mount... already swapped out that thumb piece for a smaller aluminum one, but I do like the ergonomics of a small or angled front grip with a thumb piece on the left side. | |

| Do I win a 🍪 Yes, it sure looks the business. I'm more into the "retro" AR's just now, but in my Airsoft days many, many moons ago it was more of the modern look, mainly tricked out M4A1's. You must do a video of that one, albeit not a prop but still would be nice to have a walk round of the gun. | |

| My goal (after I take it out shooting a couple times with live ammo) is to convert it to blank fire, and I'll probably do a bit on that if I can. Need to find a space cheaper than an indoor range where I can make noise, but I've already bought the blank firing adapter and some blanks from Bolands.
I also have a nice electric shell-ejecting airsoft M4, but it needs work, and my electronics knowledge may not be up to the task... we'll see.

| Kevin, what do you think about explosive airsoft BBs to simulate bullet impacts? Maybe a cheap alternative to squibs? Regards. Jati | |

| Airsoft BBs tend to be too small. The industry standard for things like that is a "sweeny gun", which is basically just a .68 paintball gun. That's the normal paintball size, and you can sometimes find empty paintball shells you can fill yourself. I've done that for wall and floor hits (filling them with white or dark powder), and they can also be done for blood hits (pad up though, they sting!) or sparks (if you fill them right - haven't tried that yet though). | |
