| Subject: How to clean the exteriors of a HW modelgun? Sat Mar 02, 2019 9:26 pm | |
| Hello out there, I bought a used HUDSON desert eagle 44 from Yahoo jp auctions, here some pics: the item is in good shape but it got some stains and imprints on the external surface - slide and frame - from use, so I'd like to ask how (with what kind of products) I could remove them and maybe make it shine again (well....in a way) without damaging it. Thank to all of you for all the tips and help you could give me. Best regards | |

| Hi Dave - I always use a 100% silicone spray lubricant and a cloth. Same thing I use on the cartridge inner rubber o-rings.
100% Silicone won't hurt the HW material.

| Same here silicone spray. Never tried a gun cloth but that might work, used for cleaning metal work and woodwork on guns, they have a believe silicone in them. | |
