Tanaka G18 on auto

My venerable Tanaka G18
Greased and loaded
First magazine is evo cartridges the second is old initial Tanaka’s


I am getting a bit exhausted, not from firing but from cleaning cartridges
I’ll take a small break

i do like full auto handguns they always sound great. i dont use the old Tanaka rounds anymore i found them just to powerful for the older models, but maybe they will be fine in the the newer stronger models they are making. Not sure i want to take the chance though.

There are so many horror stories about Tanaka and broken barrels.
I will not claim I have fired my early version cartridges a lot but I have used them, also in my several years old USP. So far I have escaped unharmed by such disaster. In the ? 3 years old G18 I have shoved through around 40-50 rounds of early version cartridges on Auto
I have become more and more careful about cleaning and lubrications. Not saying that’s why - I might just have had luck (until now )
