Hope this isn's something already known, I have tried to find info on the Kokusai superweapon airsoft / modelgun hybrids a while back and all I found was an ad for their M16A1.
Now, a fellow guy from an airsoft forum found this video, which shows preparation and firing of a Kokusai M655 very detailed (and what seems to be a few fotos of a Kokusai XM177E2 restoration). I do think, this is a pretty rare sight

Great find! Thank you for sharing. As I am a big fan of the XM177 I simply love it.
It is intersting that all the Japanese companies get the designation of a fixed-stock M16A1 carbine with 14,5 inch barrel as M655 wrong. This kind of carbine was very rare and called Colt Model 651. The 655 was an early sniper version of the M16A1 rifle. But that is a little off-topic ...
