A scoop exclusive piece of news for the Forum
A 1:1 scale Modelgun Radom pistol is planned for release some time in 2021.
The photos show the protype built by Pocket's Gunsmithing in Japan. Made fromHWABS / ABS it shows impressive attention to detail. Factory markings in particular.
Pocket's Gunsmithing are considering making these available initially as non-moving models but then a fully strippable, dummy model is planned. This version of the Radom will be available in kit form.
The model represents the Radom VIS pistol, as produced in 1936
Any interested parties out there can post comments here. I can forward these to Pocket's Gunsmithing.

It does look like a very nice replica. No idea of price yet but as soon as I know more I'll let you know. Same goes for any other models in their portfolio

Wow that's an awsome looking pre-war Radom. The WWII produced ones were a lot rougher looking. A friend of mine's father, who was in the Polish resistance in the war, had one and I got a chance to shoot it. A lot like the Browning 9mm but it's also simular to the Colt 1911. Please keep us informed when it becomes avaliable I want one.

Strippable would be awesome!
If production can be ramped up and price kept resonable, Pocket's Gunsmithing might be looking toward doing business in Poland. Such model can be hugely popular here on patriotic grounds!

As far as I am aware, no-one else has made a model Radom.
I've let Pocket's Gunsmithing know that there certainly interest in their product(s). As soon as I hear anything I'll let you all know.

I know getting molding and all other parts ready is har work but have anyone seen or heard news on these guys plans for the VIS Radom ??

I've heard nothing at all since, sadly.
That's not to say work stopped progress though, perhaps no-one in the UK was interested in importing and retailing them. Might be worth an internet search for the maker's website.

Back in the good old days pre ban my club used to have one of these as a club gun. Definitely a Polish Eagle not a WWII Gulag made, finish was worn but she was a beauty. What a fantastic well built piece, built like a tank. We must have put tens of thousands of rounds of Radway Green 2Z ( intended for the Blowback Sterling SMG's ) through it and it just kept coming back for more.
